121. Rifter vs Taranis? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Dual-prop 'ranis is a fairly easy fight for an AB/Web/Scram Rifter. You're faster than it by about 40%, so kite outside of blaster range (orbit around 6,000m, give or take) and it'll be doing fairly minimal DPS (Neutrons with Null get about 6km Op...

122. Why do you / dont you Roleplay? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Almost everybody roleplays to some extend, even if they don't realise it. You usually don't think of someone in Eve as John Smith from Arizona who has a wife and 2 kids, works a ****ty desk job and plays EVE as an escape, but you rather think of t...

123. The Ferox of doom! - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
The best bait is the one people don't expect to be bait. I personally love my Ferox. 70+k DPS and 450 DPS (that's just with my fairly average skill), and nobody ever expects the Ferox to be bait. And the resist bonus is great when you have friend...

124. Ishtar vs Vaga? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Massive explosive hole is massive. And hey look, Vaga does Explosive damage with both Barrage and RF Fusion. And you would barely scratch his shields before he tore through your non-existent buffer.

125. Solo Hurricane: 2x Nanofibers or 2x Tracking Enhancers? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
When flying a solo Hurricane, is the mobility of the nanos preferred over the range and tracking bonuses of TEs? Assume a fit something like: 6x 425mm Autocannon II 2x Medium Neuts 10MN MWD 2x LSEII (or LSE+Invuln) Long Point DCII 3x Gyrostabs 2x...

126. notebook, or box computer ? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Athena Silk on 16/04/2010 10:59:18 Box + Netbook, in my opinion. If size is a problem, go for a MicroATX (mATX, not uATX. uATX is a different form-factor, and with a few exceptions, doesn't make for a good gaming PC) motherboard and...

127. Arbitrator - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
A fit that I've been playing around with of late for gang work is this: 2x Small Neuts 1x Med NOS (Could be a small, I can't remember 100%) 1x Drone range module 10NM MWD 2x PWNAGE tracking disruptors 1x LSE II Damage Control II 2x Nanofiber II...

128. What is the Ferox good for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's for those odd Caldari PvP pilots who trained Hybrids over Missiles, and like flying tanky shield BCs (like myself). A Drake is a better all-round boat, and a Brutix will out-DPS it, but hey, 70-80k eHP and 450-ish DPS is nothing to scoff at. ...

130. The Tyranny of the Cynofield - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I do think a cyno needs some kind of counter. A lot of people in this thread seem to think that only one thing ever comes from a cyno: Smart-bombing carriers. But clearly, they've never gone into an "even" fight only to have 3 RR Carriers hot drop...

Edited by: Athena Silk on 01/04/2010 10:29:52 Train up Amarr Cruiser 4 and fly an Arbitrator. Aside from the Shield tanking thing, an Arbitrator seems to tick most of the boxes. Drones: Check. Lots of slots for analyzer, codebreaker, cloak, sa...

132. Destroyers and PvP - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

133. To pod or not to - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
If I catch 'em, I'll pod 'em. They provide intel and warp-ins for enemy fleets, so it's smart to make sure they don't hang around. The exception to this is low-sec, as the sec hit is too high for my tastes (I don't want to go -10).
